Symtally is a simple symptom-tracking app designed for privacy first. Your health information belongs to you—and only you. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app uses, how it is stored, and how your privacy is protected.

1. Data We Collect

Symtally does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data.

We do not operate any servers and we do not receive or access anything you enter into the app.

Symtally does not collect:

• Your email
• Your device identifiers
• Health data
• Usage analytics
• Crash logs (unless you have enabled system-level sharing with Apple/Google)

2. Health Data & App Entries

All symptom entries, notes, ratings, filters, and settings are stored locally on your device only.

• No cloud sync
• No online accounts
• No external storage
• No remote transmission

You have full control over your data at all times.

3. Backups

Symtally allows you to create manual backups for your own device.

• Backups are saved locally on your phone (in private app storage).
• They are not sent to any server.
• You may manually share or move the backup file if you choose, but this is always your decision.

Symtally never accesses or uploads your backup files.

4. Payments & Subscriptions

Symtally does not process any payments.

There are:

• No subscriptions
• No in-app purchases
• No payment SDKs
• No purchase tracking

The app does not collect or store financial information.

5. Advertising

Symtally displays banner ads using Google AdMob.

• AdMob may collect device identifiers or coarse location for ad delivery.
• You control consent and personalization options through your OS and Google settings.
• Symtally does not store or access any of this information.
• We do not use this data for tracking or cross-app profiling.

6. Third-Party Services

Symtally does not use:

• Analytics tools
• Crash reporting SDKs
• Payment processors
• Cloud databases
• Social login
• RevenueCat or any subscription management service

Your data never leaves your device unless you manually choose to export it.

7. Permissions

Symtally requests only the permissions required for core functionality:

Possible permissions:

• Local storage access: to save your backup files
• Network access (optional): only if ads are shown (not for data upload)

Symtally never accesses photos, contacts, location, microphone, camera, or files outside the private app directory unless explicitly initiated by you (e.g., exporting backups).

8. Children's Privacy

Symtally does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

The app is safe to use regardless of age because no data is ever transmitted or stored externally.

9. Your Control Over Your Data

You can:

• Delete all entries at any time
• Delete the app to remove all stored data
• Manage your own backup files

We do not keep copies.
